Kester Black was founded in 2012 and sort to redefine the industry standard for ethically produced cosmetics by providing Australian made, professional quality, environmentally produced and cruelty free products that are inspired by beautiful design. Kester Black’s range of water permeable, breathable nail polishes are high-shine, chip-resistant and follow the ‘five-free formula’, providing a manicure as kind to your nails as it is to the planet.

Alongside their vibrant range of nail polishes, Kester Black offer a deeply nourishing range of skincare products containing 97%+ natural ingredients and are free from palm oil, parabens, sulfates, and petrochemicals.

The Change We Seek®

Driven to minimise their environmental impact and maximise the quality of their cosmetics, Kester Black use sustainable production methods that utilise recyclable materials and small batch manufacturing to minimise wastage. Their entire product range is manufactured in Australia to reduce their carbon footprint and support local industry. Kester Black also rigorously screens all suppliers for negative practices.

Kester Black has a formal commitment to give 2% of revenue including in-kind donations to registered charities every year. In 2015 they donated 3.5% and are projecting an increase to 15% for the coming year.

Concurrently $1 from every sale on kesterblack.com is donated by Kester Black to one of their customers’ choice of their four charity partners Water Aid, Animals Asia, Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Bush Heritage.
