About League of Extraordinary Women

League of Extraordinary Women is an organisation that provides female entrepreneurs the power to connect, be inspired and supported by others just like them. They exist to contribute to the entrepreneurial eco-system and in particular support females on their entrepreneurial journey.

They do this by focusing on creating genuine and real connections between female entrepreneurs through their online community and face-to-face through meet ups in each state.

Ultimately they exist to connect, inspire and empower female entrepreneurs and do this through 3 pillars:

  • League Monthly Membership. Females that are at any stage of their business life whether it be aspiring entrepreneurs, startup entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs. This membership fee allows members to connect with other female entrepreneurs through:
  • Online Members Portal: Members are provided with a login and password to an exclusive members only portal which gives them access to resources, watch videos, peruse the business directory and share their story.
  • Round Table Real Talk: An organised forum of 8 to 10 League Members where real talk discussions are had over a specific topic. Each participant gets 15 minutes to present a challenge and receive feedback. The aim of this round table is to provide a deeper and meaningful conversation between the female entrepreneurs involved. This is in trial in Melbourne and will be rolled out across all cities in Australia. They are currently working on building guidelines so that this is a scalable model.
  • Face-to-Face Meet Ups: Informal meet up events occur at least every 6 weeks to bring together the female entrepreneurs in each city. These are hosted by the city’s Ambassador in each location, who is passionate about connecting women in business. Ambassadors lead The League movement in their community and organise, host and facilitate face-to-face connections. Ambassadors are empowered to find female entrepreneurs to share their stories at these meet ups.
  • Run the World Conference: A one day conference that runs once a year to showcase 8 incredibly successful female entrepreneurs to share their story on stage with over 350 people in attendance. These conferences are recorded and uploaded to their members portal so that it can be accessed by all members.
  • The League App: Currently in concept phase, The League is developing the world's first app that will allow female entrepreneurs across the globe to connect with each other based on location. Female entrepreneurs will be able to communicate through the app in messages and organise in-person meet ups and the Round Table Real Talk forums.

We believe that what we do impacts and inspires those around us. We are all interconnected and through our positive and purposeful values, we are able to provide women with the support throughout their entrepreneurial journey to reach their full potential.
