The organisation believe ideas spark brighter futures and they’re about unearthing these ideas and bringing them to life. Spark works with Not for Profits, Private Sector, Government and Social Businesses to unleash their potential, to transform them and the societies in which they live.

Spark strives for scalable impact, recognising that social need is outstripping supply and the problem is only getting worse. The model is broken, and Spark is playing a part in leading a new way, based on bringing the commercial and social sectors closer together. Spark lives and breathes this philosophy, which is reflected in the organisation’s own unique business model.While the organisation delivers the whole gambit of management consulting services, the key area of expertise is sustainable business models.

The team of Sparkies comprise a bunch of serial entrepreneurs and strategists, keen to harness the power of ideas in mobilising organisations to revitalise the world of possibility. Bringing cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience to drive creative thinking, they have done the consulting rounds, working with clients of all sizes, and within advisory firms from the largest to sole practitioners. Their work is both global and local and their style is to work closely with client leaders and their teams’s to uncover ideas and strategies that bring about positive change.

We became a B Corp because we live in a society not just an economy, and this society has problems that can be fixed through the right ideas and efforts.

Spark Strategy want to drive social outcomes. They are not nurses, social workers, wealthy philanthropists or care givers. So how can they help? By applying their skills to help third sector agencies and private businesses develop their social sides and survive, grow and thrive.

They recognise that the boundaries between the social and private sectors are blurring - probably for the betters – and they have 18 years experience guiding organisations through the uncomfortable journey towards financial and social sustainability. It’s the journey they’ve taken for themselves.

The Customers section of the Assessment measures the impact a company has on its customers. The section focuses on whether a company sells products or services that promote public benefit, and if those products/services are targeted towards serving underserved populations. Questions in this section will measure whether a company's product or service is designed to solve a social or environmental issue (e.g. improves health, preserves environment or creates economic opportunity to individuals or communities, promotes the arts/sciences, or increases the flow of capital to purpose-driven enterprises).

The section also measures the company's practices and policies around community service and charitable giving.
