About Talent Nation

Talent Nation is an executive recruitment and search firm with a core focus on Environment, Sustainability, Energy, and the Not for Profit sector. They operate as a focal point in their areas of specialisation, creating communities of talent for both clients and candidates to interact with. Talent Nation’s expertise lies in identifying individuals that align both culturally and technically with organisations that engage them. Talent Nation’s goal is to create a community of business leaders who will influence organisations to achieve effective social, environmental and economic outcomes.

We undertook the B Corp assessment initially as a means to determine if we were walking the talk and also identify areas in which we can improve our practices. The opportunity to link in with like-minded organisations by becoming a Certified B Corporation was a major draw card.

The Change We Seek

Despite an underlying passion for social and environmental improvement, without the economic drivers the change is not sustainable. To enable change in our major clients, Talent Nation looks to influence their decision making by providing staff that can link all three elements of sustainability.

Talent Nation views itself as a connector in that they are able to link together individuals and organisations that share a common purpose or vision and collectively bring about greater change.

What makes us a better company?

The Customers section of the Assessment measures the impact a company has on its customers. The section focuses on whether a company sells products or services that promote public benefit, and if those products/services are targeted towards serving underserved populations. The Community section of the survey assesses a company's impact on its community. The Community section evaluates a company's supplier relations, diversity, and involvement in the local community.
