As the silly season approaches, we’ve been reflecting on the seriously epic year we’ve shared as a community. We brought B Corp to SXSW Sydney, felt a boost in media spotlight, and kicked the year off with Assembly—the largest in-person gathering of local B Corps since 2017. We’d be remiss not to mention the growth we’ve experienced over the past 12 months. It’s been incredible, to say the least. Today, we meet three of the 110+ B Corporations who celebrated their certification this year.
From designing considered spaces to work, live and play to crafting clever campaigns that inspire positive cultural change—these three Bs have creativity in spades. For them, harnessing creativity isn’t about surface-level aesthetics. It’s about curiously considering how they can leave a positive legacy by doing things differently and having the courage to carry through. Join us in congratulating Juntos Marketing, Hassell, and Carbon Creative!

Juntos Marketing: powerful partnerships and “marketing for good”
At Juntos Marketing, “marketing for good” is more than a tagline — it’s a mission. From award-winning mental health campaigns in regional Australia to strategic ESG initiatives and education campaigns, Juntos Marketing keeps good company and partners with clients who share in their “commitment to purpose”.
Spanning across health, government, education and not-for-profit spaces, the Juntos Marketing team work on a wide variety of planet and people-centred campaigns, and their approach is informed by their in-house research branch, Leapfrog Research.
Recently, this Australian-owned B Corp collaborated with the South Western Sydney Local Health District to promote local Safe Haven facilities, using storytelling to raise awareness of these compassionate spaces. They also worked with the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) on a campaign to reduce mental health stigma and promote support pathways in the region. This project saw Juntos Marketing and MPHN accept the ‘Purpose-Led Marketing’ accolade at this year’s AMI Marketing Excellence Awards.
Behind the scenes at their Camperdown HQ, Juntos Marketing has transitioned to 100% renewable energy, implemented flexible work policies, and prioritise B Corp, local and ethical suppliers.
Experts in messaging and amplifying reach, Juntos Marketing told us that they would encourage other purpose-driven workplaces to confidently and transparently communicate their impact initiatives to the broader world.
“Many Australian businesses are quietly driving real change — fundraising, donating to charity, or encouraging employee volunteering — but these efforts often remain hidden. By openly showcasing these meaningful practices, businesses can shift the focus away from those engaging in performative efforts or greenwashing and instead inspire others to act.”

Hassell: diverse perspectives, regenerative design, and more sustainable spaces
The spaces where we work, live, and play are much more than bricks and mortar. How our built environments are designed impacts our day-to-day and leaves a lasting mark on our communities. That’s why international architecture and design firm Hassell is on a mission to help build a better future by designing “places people love”. This starts with assembling a dream team of architecture, landscape, interior design, and urban design pros who, with their “rich multi-disciplinary mix of skills and perspectives,” collaboratively create spaces that look mighty pretty while providing positive social value too.
“As designers, it is our responsibility to embed sustainability and regenerative design in everything we do to enable people and nature to thrive together.”
—Hassell
Hassell’s impressive portfolio includes concepts for a new National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural precinct in Canberra called Ngurra, a transformation of Melbourne’s Arts Precinct (slated for 2028), 6-star Green Star-rated building ‘Sixty Martin Place’, and Brisbane’s Riverside Green. They’ve contributed to the City of Sydney’s Sustainable Sydney 2030-2050 ‘Continuing the Vision’ proposal and this year published, with the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), a discussion paper exploring how we can measure the social impact of our built environments.
Walking the talk, Hassell has achieved carbon neutral status, committed to achieving gender balance by 2028, transitioned their Sydney and Melbourne studios to 100% renewable energy, committed to developing their next Reconciliation Action Plan, designed a sustainable procurement strategy, and supports communities in need by offering pro bono or subsidised services through Architects Without Frontiers.

Carbon Creative: impactful messaging in motion and campaigning for positive cultural change
Helping organisations turn their vision for positive change into reality—that’s Carbon Creative’s jam. They’ve been in the game for almost 20 years, so needless to say, they know their stuff, harmoniously blending powerful words, advertising, design and PR “while also mixing in something uniquely special”.
No two projects are the same for this social change creative agency; you’re sure to have seen some of their work out in the wild. The 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated B Corp explains, “We can often be working on a range of projects that tackle everything from family violence prevention to saving rainforests.” The agency supports not-for-profit 3rd Space with pro bono services and adds that they are extra passionate about projects geared at improving “societal wellbeing for Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Because for us, it’s personal.”
Through Carbon Creative’s extensive work with and in First Nations communities, their deep understanding of First Nations history and culture continues to grow. The team shared with us that they’d like to see cultural competency training become the norm, and it’s something they ask all employees and subcontractors to participate in to acknowledge unconscious bias and ensure “cultural respect and safety is continued” within their work and office walls.
“While [cultural competency training] doesn’t come close to lived experience, it does provide our extended team with an understanding of our nation’s history and the impact it has had on our First Nations people. As we strive to reconcile our country, we recognise the benefit this cultural training could have for all Australians.”

A word of advice
Gather round aspiring Bs! These new-Bs have tips, tricks, and words of encouragement to share. Because, as Carbon Creative so perfectly put it, when you’re finding the journey is getting tough, “ it’s good to know that you’re not alone.” Their team worked with a social impact consultant from Purpose Made and found it beneficial to assign dedicated team members (aka B Keepers) to manage the process.
B Impact Score ebbing and flowing? It’s nothing to be alarmed about, according to Hassell, who would “encourage all aspiring B Corps to be patient, to take their time,” and chat to leadership about the Purpose and Stakeholder Governance Requirement “early on!”
Juntos Marketing shared that their approach “centred on taking consistent, incremental steps to ensure steady progress”, starting with a self-assessment to “pinpoint gaps and prioritise improvements, starting with quick wins such as formalising policies and documenting existing practices.” They recommend embedding B Corp principles into company culture asap, and leveraging community support as well as B Corp’s suite of resources.
“Becoming a B Corp allows us to strengthen our capabilities by joining a global community of authentic impact-led businesses using business as a force for good. A community where we can engage with and learn from long-standing B Corps while sharing lessons from our own journey.”
