Four new B Corps rethinking how we gather, work, learn and play

We’re still riding the energy of Assembly 2025 back in October, a reminder of how special it can be when we all gather together. And in that spirit, we’re turning the spotlight to four freshly Certified B Corporations, each shaping meaningful experiences, in their own ways, through events, the workplace, and travel.

We chat with Wilderness Motorhomes, who share their advice for aspiring B Corps.

Consultancy firm Every Bit Counts shares its role in a recent purpose-led hospitality project, one that you may have spotted at last year’s Australian Open.

The Happy Workplace Group discusses reshaping the modern office around flexibility, well-being, and community.

And finally, Infuse Travel teaches us about its purpose-driven, culturally immersive trips, designed to give young people an experience they won’t get in the classroom.

Read on for plenty more inspiring stories, valuable insights, and food for thought from these four new B Corps.

Wilderness Motorhomes recommends aspiring B Corps view journey as a positive challenge

Boasting an abundance of awe-inspiring views, we all know why Aotearoa New Zealand is such a coveted holiday spot. This B Corp, Wilderness Motorhomes, is in the business of helping folks experience the magic for themselves, offering quality motorhomes to hire (or even purchase, if that’s what you’re looking for).

The family-owned company was forged back in the early 2000s by siblings John and Mary, inspired by their own childhood memories exploring the country with their kin.

Today, that local, family-owned essence persists. Among other benefits, Wilderness Motorhomes staff have access to free private health insurance and extended secondary caregiver leave. For guests, each motorhome is stocked with small but thoughtful essentials (dishwashing liquid from local social enterprise, Will & Able, for instance). The company is a proud supporter of the Monte Cecilia Housing Trust and, in partnership with Trees That Count, customers can support native tree planting projects across Aotearoa.

“At Wilderness, we believe the real magic of travel is helping people to slow down, step away from the busyness of life, and reconnect with themselves, with their loved ones, and with nature.”

Offering advice to aspiring B’s, Wilderness says to view the B Impact Assessment as a navigational tool and a positive challenge. “We recommend looking at all the options in the framework and sorting them into buckets: things we’re already doing, things we could do easily, things that need more work, and long-term initiatives. Start creating momentum on those bigger, longer-term projects while you’re ticking off the smaller wins.”

Every Bit Counts on the art of good gathering

Impact consultancy firm, Every Bit Counts, guides hospitality businesses as they navigate new opportunities and goals. As the Victoria-based B Corp explains, “We partner with bold decision-makers and visionaries to start, transform, and grow organisations through integrated social impact, community engagement, and customer experience strategies.”

What does this look like in action? Well, here’s an example the team’s particularly proud of (as they should be!). Recently, Every Bit Counts supported social enterprise cafe, All Things Equal, in bringing its Australian Open 2025 activation to life. “We delivered an operational master plan, menu and service guidance, and hands-on advisory across logistics, rostering, tastings and site visits — ensuring All Things Equal could deliver thousands of high-quality dishes with confidence,” Every Bit Counts explains.

“For us, it showed the true power of gathering: when purposeful enterprises are woven into iconic cultural moments, legacies ripple well beyond the event itself.”

Every Bit Counts, on their experience working with All Things Equal

Tapped into the positive flow-on a good gathering can create, Every Bit Counts would like to see organisations put a whole lot more love, intention, inclusivity and impact into events. “Imagine if boring conferences didn’t exist. Imagine if no one left an event uninspired. Imagine if precious resources — time, money, planet — weren’t wasted. Imagine if every gathering left a legacy,” the B Corp suggests. “Done well, events and meetings don’t just fill calendars — they shift cultures, tackle loneliness, strengthen communities, and contribute to a healthier planet.”

Re-thinking traditional work spaces with The Happy Workplace Group

The Happy Workplace Group believes that a happy workforce isn’t just good for people, it’s a strategic advantage. Through its brands Liberty Flexible Workspaces and Felix RE, the parent company creates workplaces and experiences “where people love to be, feel welcomed, and can do their best work”.

Premium serviced offices, coworking, meeting rooms — these are just a few of the configurations on offer throughout Australia — each welcoming, inclusive, and chic by design. Lease terms are flexible and spaces are pre-equipt with all the bells and whistles (furniture, utilities, coffee, etc), so that members can simply log in and tackle that to-do list, all while enjoying the perks of an in-built community.

“We believe happiness is a strategic advantage — and that people-first environments lead to thriving businesses and thriving communities.”

— The Happy Workplace Group

The group’s every-day actions serve as a reminder of the breadth of impact we can all have at an operational level in our own offices. The Happy Workplace Group has introduced paid volunteer leave, enhanced its local supplier policy, made energy efficiency upgrades and taken on waste reduction initiatives. “These aren’t big, flashy changes,” the group shares. “They’re thoughtful, meaningful decisions made every day. And we believe that’s where real impact grows.”

“B Corp isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being willing to improve and lead by example.”

— The Happy Workplace Group

But, as The Happy Workplace Group explains, its greatest impact lies in creating happy workplaces that strengthen community and worker wellbeing. “We would like to see genuine people-first culture frameworks become standard practice. . . . That includes clear wellbeing practices, equitable opportunities, ethical leadership, meaningful recognition, and environments designed for human connection — not just productivity.”

How Infuse Travel is inspiring the next generation of change-makers

Infuse Travel curates travel experiences for students and schools around the world. These impressive itineraries are designed to engage students in ways that are difficult to achieve in the classroom, and you’d be mistaken if you compared them to a conventional school camp.

“Through hands-on conservation and wildlife rehabilitation programs, community service activities such as cooking and delivering meals to those in need, or building housing and other community infrastructures within low-income villages across Asia and the Pacific, we support young people to take the first step on a life-long journey of change-making,” explains Infuse Travel.

Inspiring and educating the next generation is the first of what Infuse describes as its three impact domains. The second encompasses the positive outcomes students achieve for these communities, and the third is Infuse’s commitment to pursue responsible and regenerative tourism practices.

“Our mission is to support youth active citizenship by encouraging young people to step out into the world and create meaningful connections for building more inclusive and regenerative futures.”

Meanwhile, back at home, Infuse told us 2025 has been a busy one at HQ too. The team has been focused on strengthening governance policies and building comprehensive monitoring, evaluation and learning procedures. “Through this work we are able to better understand our impacts — positive and negative — and [make] continual refinements to what we do,” Infuse explains. “We have also been working on some exciting new plans to enhance our environmental impact,” the B teases. “But it is just a little bit early to announce them yet. Stay tuned!”
